As we all know, Elite is a wild and raunchy teen-thriller drama series is about a fictional elite secondary school, Las Encinas, and the life of the students involving their relationships between working class students enrolled at the school through a scholarship program. Elite became popular globally as it was distributed in Spain and Latin America.
Aside from the issues this school and the students face, Elite is also associated with themes full of teen dramas, progressive issues, more clichés, and hard complex themes like racism, homosexuality, freedom, and sexual liberation.
The first season really made a big noise in the social media world for it brought “faces” and “new talents” that were so good, people loved it to the core. It has been trending every single time and became the audiences’ guilty pleasure.
Its mature themes are one of the reasons why this topnotch, controversial series is on fire. In 2019, Elite was renewed for the second season and third season on August.
During the start of the pandemic, years 2020 and late 2021, it was also renewed for its fourth season. Yes! Netflix did that. And now, the fifth season is on its way this April.
What’s stopping you from not seeing this television series?
‘Elite’, on the other hand, is filled with gorgeous and ridiculously hot cast. Some of the cast includes Ester Esposito, Miguel Bernardeau, Omar Ayuso, Miguel Herran, Jaime Lorente, and Martina Cariddi. It will also bring new stars including Alvero de Juana, Carmen Arrufat Blasco, Ana Bokesa, Alex Pastrana and Ander Puig.
Although this centers on a school type of thriller drama, you should take note that one of the center plots include murder and a lot of twists which will get you hooked instantly. It has a soundtrack that is music to all ears and even has a wide range storyline with queer representation and Muslim identity.
‘Elite’ also showcases the portrayal of different lifestyles; strong female leads and more character development all throughout the show and its seasons. In short, this show got everything you need.
The upcoming season will pick up on the dramatic events of Philippe’s New Year’s Party. Samuel and Ari will be tested by the overwhelming secret of Armando’s death while characters like Rebeca and Omar must adapt to new circumstances in their lives.
‘Elite’ season 5 will also feature a few new characters to add even more drama to stuff all existing dramas too.
