Fans are going crazy as there were photos surfacing online about Netflix’s Avatar series.
The moment Netflix included Avatar on their streaming list, they were surprised by the immense popularity and success that this show brings. It’s like a rollercoaster of emotions to the core. For a few years, there was no news about this before and it has been a few days since this became the talk of the town.
Actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee has shared the details for the first season of the upcoming live-action series. He revealed that the first season of the live-action adaptation the Avatar series consists of eight episodes, contradicting previous reports that the show’s first season would have a total of 10 episodes.
Fans on Twitter and Reddit are now making a noise since this update came out. Like, for Avatar fans—this is one great news, right?
Each episode will run for 60 minutes with a total of 480 minutes on eight episodes for the first season. The first live-action of ‘The Last Airbender’ was released in 2010 but was met with heavy criticism because of the film’s adaptation of the animated series. Well, who would’ve thought that twelve years later, Aang’s story is now here again in a brand-new way.
This might be (or not) the most expensive Netflix show ever next to ‘The Crown’, Avatar News said in an interview. The site now claims that Netflix’s live-action series has a budget of at least $120 million USD. Each episode is said to cost more than $15 million.
For the cast: Gordon Cormier will be playing Aang, Kiawentiio Tarbell as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas James Liu as Zuko.
