2NE1 is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment and they were active in years 2009 and between 2016. Aside from producing quality K-pop songs which hit the top charts in their glorious years, 2NE1 is also known for breaking the stereotypes in the K-pop industry for their fashion style, musical experimentation, and stage presence.
They are recognized for expanding girl group styles in the Korean music industry and have become of the leading figures of the Korean wave.
We never truly forget the originals.
They’ve been a lot of hiatus. After several hiatuses, Minzy announced her departure in 2016, and the group officially disbanded in November of the same year. Their final single, “Goodbye”, was recorded as a trio and was released on January 21, 2017 as a farewell to their fans.
At present, the reunion we never expected happened.
CL took the stage at Coachella as part of 88rising’s “Heads In The Clouds Forever” set. Little did people know that the unexpected treat of CL on stage will be joined by her bandmates: Bom, Minzy, and Dara.
Fans who were watching Coachella for CL shocked to see not just CL perform, but also the entire group, 2NE1.

Now, they’re breaking the trends again and emotions are pouring over because 2NE1 indeed—is a legendary group. They once made the K-pop industry boom like unending glitters in the sky. 2ne1 will always be everyone else’s fire.
