Hello, fans of the A24!
‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ continues to make a noise at it is now being labeled as the film with the highest-grossing domestic release.
And oof, you didn’t see that coming.
Speaking of alternate and different universes, we can see on Twitter trends and even social media trends everywhere that it is being compared to Dr. Strange in relation to universes. Well, it made its marketing appear like that.
‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ tells a multiverse story filled with visual energy and narrative ambition which pays homage to martial arts, black comedies, animation, science fiction, and fantasy epics. It discusses the fact that there are infinite versions of you that exist that all depend on the life paths you take.
That sounded interesting? Well, it’s time for you to check it out I guess.
A24 is a studio known for its unique, small-budget films. But, take note—small-budget films don’t necessarily mean that their output is kind of trashy. It proves taste, quality, and is very thematic. The studio’s previous films include The Green Knight, Lady Bird, Midsommar, The Lighthouse, and Lady Bird.
With over $52.2 million earned at the box office, it beats the record as the highest—surpassing Uncut Gems and Lady Bird.
Directed by directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the cast includes the ever-amazing Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, Evelyn Wang, Ke Huy Quan, and many more.
