Watch out, K-drama fans! Uncanny Counter has recently been speeding up preparations for its much-awaited Season 2. You didn’t see that coming!
We are all aware that Uncanny Counter is indeed a high-rated action series jampacked with twists and fun. In all other series with next season shenanigans, we are guaranteed that the original cast would participate again.
The drama was highly popular and was even evaluated as a new “Korean Hero Drama” during its run. In response, the production team, including director Yoo Sun Dong, decided to expand the drama into a new season just months after Season 1 concluded.
‘Uncanny Counter’ is based on a webtoon which follows the story of four people who run a noodle shop by day and hunt demons when they’re not working. There’re still no confirmed dates about its start of production for Season 2 or target release.
On the other hand, can we talk about how intense Money Heist Korea is?
Netflix’s new Korean series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area rose to No. 2 on a global popularity chart for TV series available on the streaming service. Set on the Korean Peninsula, where the two Koreas establish a joint economic area (JEA) as a first step toward unification, a group of thieves from the South and the North overtake the mint at the JEA, and the police of the two Koreas join hands to stop them.
Expectations are high even before its launch. The original “Money Heist” (La Casa De Papel) from Spain was one of Netflix’s most watched series in 2018.
6 episodes were definitely not enough to judge the whole thing but one thing is for sure: it blew our minds.
Money Heist: Korea provided star-studded casts with superb acting. They have impressive storyline, the characters’ chemistry most especially Denver and Moscow, Berlin’s character, Yoo Ji Tae as professor, and the progress of love lines though romance is not a prominent aspect in the series. These are some of the notable and best points in the entire series.
This crossover with the seismic force of Korean content surely throws open the sheer scope of what Netflix can achieve with its ever-growing library of popular franchises.
Money Heist: Korea was the most popular TV show in 16 countries, including Korea, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Maldives, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The show came fifth in Spain, where the original was made.
