Comeback Queens: TWICE Is Back With An Addictive 90s And Y2k-Inspired MV For ‘Talk That Talk’

The nine-member girl group’s 11th mini-album and new video is here and it’s totally the jam of the century. In the video, the walkie talkie-wielding group enter colorful and high-tech virtual worlds.

Composed of members Jihyo, Sana, Momo, Mina, Chaeyeong, Dahyun, Tzuyu, Jeongyeon, and Nayeon—TWICE’s 11th mini album ‘Between 1&2’, marks the group’s first comeback album release after a series of contract renewals with JYP Entertainment earlier this year. The album is also meant to commemorate TWICE’s 7th anniversary this year, which falls on October 20.

“Talk that Talk” is an addictive ’90s style song with a refreshing and exciting melody that conveys the lovable message of saying everything that’s on your mind.

Coming with a thematic MV, we can see a view here of past and future technology meet. The girls are seen holding glittery walkie-talkies, tapping on floating computer screens while dancing to beat.

At the end of the music video, a QR code meant for their fandom ONCE’s is shown. When scanned, the QR code leads to TWICE’s Instagram post where they announce the name of their group’s fandom.

Other songs on the mini-album include ‘Queen of Hearts’, ‘Basics’, ‘Brave’, ‘Gone’ and ‘When We Were Kids’. The latter two tracks were co-written by rapper Dahyun.
