P-pop boyband BGYO have released ‘Magnet’, the lead single from their upcoming sophomore album ‘Be Us’.
Dubbed as the ‘Aces of Pinoy Pop’—Gelo, Mikki, Akira, JL, and Nate are dominating the screens and trends toward achieving their goal of being kings.
‘Magnet’ was composed by John Michael Conchada and produced by Jumbo de Belen of FlipMusic, with vocal coaching by Jerwin Nicomedez and additional production by Mat Olavides. If we were to rate the music video, it was extremely on a different level—the P-pop way.
The music video is a polished pop containing crazy visuals including cryptic imagery like the group members being held back by ropes, trapped in a room full of mirrors, and more. BGYO’s upcoming album will arrive this November 3, just over a year after their 2021 debut release ‘The Light’ released in October.
The album is set to launch alongside the music video for the key track ‘PNGNP’, and will include the group’s July comeback single ‘Tumitigil Ang Mundo’.
Well, if we are somewhere curious about the noises these kings are making, they have previously teased solo concert in the works, which would be their second headlining concert since ‘One Dream’, which was co-headlined by their labelmates, P-pop girl group ‘BINI’.
BGYO is the real deal. They became brand darlings with successive endorsement deals and was hailed TikTok Philippines’ P-Pop Group of the Year along with three other acts and many other achievements.
