‘The Glory’ is about the story of a former victim of brutal school violence who exacts revenge on her bullies after becoming the elementary school homeroom teacher of her bully’s kid.
The drama will be penned by Kim Eun Sook, the writer of hit dramas like Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, The Heirs, and Secret Garden. It will be helmed by director Ahn Gil Ho of hit K-series Happiness, Forest of Secrets, Memories of the Alhambra, and Record of Youth.

Lee Do-hyun, who appeared in popular Korean dramas Hotel Del Luna and Sweet Home, will play the opposite Song as a man with a secret past. Actors Im Ji-yeon and Park Sung-hoon were also cast in the series.
This marks Song Hye Kyo’s return to the small screen after ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ and star scriptwriter Kim Eun-sook’s new project after the fantasy romance ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ in 2020. Song and Kim previously collaborated on the hit drama, Descendants of the Sun’ which was total bomb-ass back in 2016 up until now.
Director Ahn Gi Ho mentioned that the script for this upcoming Netflix drama felt like a groundbreaking piece of literature. In the newly released teaser and posters for the drama, Song Hye Kyo sits alone under an embroidered tree littered with shoes.
