One More Chance, The Musical (Thursdays and Sundays of September)
Are you ready to relive the classic love story one more time?
Due to popular demand, PETA’s One More Chance, The Musical, is back for another series of shows following its initial run from April to June 2024. The stage play is a musical adaptation of Star Cinema’s well-loved romantic drama film One More Chance. It explores a reimagined love story between Basha, played by Anna Luna and Nicole Omillo, and Popoy, portrayed by Sam Concepcion and CJ Navato. The show features the music of the Filipino smash band Ben&Ben.

Tanod-Lupa: A Public Art Exhibition (Whole September)
Enter the world of Kapres, Tikbalangs, Diwatas, and other creatures in TANOD-LUPA, an outdoor art installation made by the renowned multimedia visual artist Abdulmari “Toym” De Leon Imao, Jr., or Toym Imao. The public art display features an illuminated installation of different elemental beings based on Philippine folklore. Witness this magical experience at the CCP Liwasang KaLIKHAsan, Pasay, Metro Manila.
Mula Sa Buwan (September 6-8)
Handa ka na bang muling masilayan ang “tanghalang ito?”
Mula sa Buwan is down to its last 4 performances for its 2024 show at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Circuit Makati. The original Filipino musical is based on Edmond Rostand’s timeless classic Cyrano de Bergerac, which tells a story of unrequited love, defiance, and friendship with a Filipino twist. This is the musical’s 6th year of rerun since its debut in 2010.
The Manila International Book Fair 2024 (September 11-15)
Calling the attention of all bookworms, nerds, geeks, and book lovers—MIBF is back for your next batch of good reads. Many literary activities like competitions, talks, and workshops will fill the 5-day book fair at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Tanghalang Pilipino’s BALETE (September 13 – October 6)
Acclaimed Filipino actor Nonie Buencamino stars in “Balete,” a play based on the novel Tree, written by National Artist for Literature F. Sionil Jose with a stage adaptation by Rody Vera, first brought to life by PETA in 2002. It tells the story of a landlord’s son growing up in an Ilokano town, exploring how class divisions impact identity and fate.
