NCT Dream Makes A Massive Comeback With ‘Glitch Mode’

NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of South Korean boy band ‘NCT’ formed by SM Entertainment in 2016. As fans know, they rebranded in 2020 and that made their shift from their youthful image and totally transformed into legal adults.

Sub-unit was supposed to follow an age-based admission in which members would leave after reaching age of majority. SM Entertainment also announced in 2020 that this system would be removed. The sub-unit has been recognized internationally as one of the most notable teenaged artists of their time. The group includes Jaemin, Jisung, Jeno, Renjun, Chenle, Haechan, and Mark Lee.

NCT Dream released their music video for ‘Glitch Mode’, the title track of their new studio album of the same name. You know it’s a comeback statement when K-idols incorporate new ideas in their new music videos and track—having a sense of freshness and versatility. And highly-anticipated comebacks are a thing now; fans wait as much as they can, make a group trends on social media and get all the glory they deserve.

‘Glitch Mode’ is a chill hip-hop dance track that gives a groovy approach. It’s like you’re in a retro-futuristic video game store, where they switch between different consoles between duties. They also appear in a pink-tinted control room filled with blinking screens, where they imitate video game glitches in the track’s creative choreography. Existing in a dual universe, the group plays two different roles in the music video. In one universe, NCT DREAM plays the role of gaming store employees, while in the other, they take up a slightly more exciting role, playing seven cupids dripping in stylish ensembles.

This comeback album follows their June 2021 repackaged album ‘Hello Future’.
Many fans coming from different ages stan NCT Dream so much because they relate to the vibe. Their vibe circles around like best friends in a jamming session or in a road tour full of visuals that are pleasing to the eyes and rhythm that is a total bop.

According to SM Entertainment, ‘Glitch Mode’ is the group’s most pre-ordered album to date with 2,030,539 copies ordered.
