What better way for a K-pop fan to wander around idols is when a new group is starting to form and you already want to learn all of them in an instance.
So, what do you do? You go search and learn all the upcoming members, where they started, where they trained, and if they’re related to some famous K-dol that we know because it happens. With Twice, Blackpink, Red Velvet, and ITZY, oozing with connections—the world is small in the entertainment industry.
HYBE’s first ever K-pop girl band is here—‘Le Sserafim’. Hybe has produced some of the most popular K-pop boy bands including BTS, TXT, and Enhypen. This six-member girl group consists of: Sakura Miyawaki, Kim Chae Won, Hong Eun Chae, Huh Yun Jin, Kim Ga-ram, and Nakamura Kazuha.
Le Sserafim is the anagram for “I’m Fearless” where Seraphim is a 6-winged heavenly being that best represents the group.
Weeks before their much-anticipated debut, they have been making a noise in all social media platforms across the globe because of the stunning visuals they already prepared and did effortlessly. On April 30 it was announced that the pre-orders for their first mini-album ‘Fearless’ had already exceeded 380,000 copies which are exceptional for a pre-debut girl group. Being the first girl group coming from HYBE, the founder of the label, Bang Si-Hyuk aka Bang PD has taken charge of the production of the six-member group’s debut album.
Aside from that, the group’s efforts together with their team seems to be pouring with praises. HYBE has released the track list for Le Sserafim’s first mini-album ‘Fearless’. With five songs on the mini-album, the single ‘Fearless’ is its title track. HYBE Labels’ founder and executive producer Bang Si-hyuk (Bang PD) has worked on the title track as well as the B-side track, ‘The Great Mermaid’. Starting to show their talent and excellent music skills from their very first album, Le Sserafim’s Chaewon and Yunjin worked on the lyrics of the song, ‘Blue Flame’ which has fans theorizing already.
The title track, ‘Fearless’ will be a funk-based alternative pop genre song that tells the story of Le Sserafim members who go by the tagline, ‘I am Fearless’, as they move on to their new journeys of being idols without any fear in the world.
Le Sserafim is set to make a debut with their first mini-album ‘Fearless’ this May 2 at 6 pm KST (5 am ET).
