‘Dr. Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness’ Is Coming To The Big Screens This May

We all know that this sequel is an upcoming American superhero based on the Marvel comics character ‘Doctor Strange’.

A short recap:

Doctor Stephen Strange’s, played by the great actor Benedict Cumberbatch, life changes after an accident takes place that caused him the use of his hands. As a doctor, who knew the traditional medicine will fail him? He was forced to dwell on to quick healing and hope and see the battle in the frontline. After that long battle, he is now forced to choose between the life he’s going to live.

In the multiverse of madness, it will redefine the nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) itself. Its protagonist, Stephen Strange, is about to launch himself on a journey across the dimensions — coming face-to-face with terrifying new enemies and powerful allies.

Strange has been a key member in protecting reality in the MCU, from interdimensional beings to the Mad Titan himself. The sequel is also set to bring Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, back to the big screen after the events of WandaVision.

Are you excited to see Cumberbatch’s performance?

Aside from that, the sequel also welcomes a new character, America Chavez, which is played by Xochitl Gomez. Gomez’s character in the new movie can punch through portals to travel through the multiverse. Gomez’s character brings representation to mainstream media.

According to Benedict Cumberbatch, it’s very much important that they have a representation of a character from the LGBTQIA+ community.

“It’s another mark in Marvel’s ability to be inclusive and diverse in its casting and in its use of characters from the comic world. And she’s awesome in this.” He added.
