Dreams do come true as the 35-year-old Robert Pattinson lives his dream as ‘Batman’.
We all know who Robert Pattinson is, right? He’s the one and only Edward Cullen in the hit film series, ‘Twilight”.
He is now following the steps of Adam West, Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck who played the role of Bruce Wayne also known as Batman for the past years.
According to Pattinson, he used to dress up as ‘Batman’ growing up. His entire childhood was Batman and it’s a dream to reality that he’s now a part of the iconic role as Batman, the DC superhero.
Pattinson said that it’s a legacy to be part of the lineup because his love for film was always glowing up high and he loves being on screen.
He even mentioned in one of his interviews that he grew up wearing the Batman costume in Adam West style.
One interesting fact about this year’s Batman is the suit. This might be a little different from the others, fiercer than ever—but this year’s Batman suit was inspired by Nirvana’s front man, Kurt Cobain.
Director Matt Reeves revealed the fun fact as we was ardently listening to Nirvana’s ‘Something in the Way’, and that song became his signal to portray Bruce Wayne a little more on the ferocious side and plays the bad boy spirit.
Reeves mentioned that Robert Pattinson has this Cobain aura in him that’s why this role was just a perfect match.
Apart from that, the cast includes Colin Farrel, Andy Serkis, and Paul Dano.
Zoe Kravitz will be playing the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
‘The Batman’ begins its global rollout from March 1.
