There are countless and simple hacks you can do to level up your Instagram profile.
Find your profile a little bit boring? Here are some IG hacks you can use to turn your boring account to an average-looking and clean one, or just some hacks you just didn’t know existed.
Clear your search history
We might look like a creep every single time we wanted to specifically search on some niche but landed on a different one. We don’t want that of course.
With this feature, you can now delete your search history by going to your profile, click ‘Settings’ button, scroll down and there you can see ‘Security’. After that, click ‘Clear search history’ and you’re good to go.
Add special fonts to your bio
Ever wonder how users do that? Simple. Using a couple o third-party websites, you can customize and choose a design you like specifically. When using mobile, you can type LingoJam. After that, type something and corresponding fonts will appear and there you can choose which one you like. Paste it to your bio and save.
If you’re going to use desktop mode, type for Font Space and you will see a variety of fonts you can download. The file will look like a screenshot but all you have to do is ‘Copy’ and ‘Paste’ it on the bio field.
Reorder your filters for organization
Instagram offers a lot of filters we can use when capturing moments whether in reels or stories. If you happen to use this app a lot, you might have a favorite filter or filters that you just want to see upfront. To reorder filters, add a new post and begin editing it. When you get to the filters page, hold down on a filter you’d like to move, and then drag it to your preferred location.
Add a business account or anything that suits you
For example, you want to build a store on a separate account, you can go by clicking the ‘Edit’ profile and check the IG tools below. Click ‘Switch to Professional Account’ and you’re almost there.
If you want to use this professional account as a seller’s account, you can do so by adding products and letting people see you. You can also tag shops (local or not) so they can help you provide buyers or if you’re lucky, they can help boost and improve it in no time.
Use ‘Type Mode’ to enhance your Instagram stories
There are many ways for people and your friends to discover you randomly on Instagram. You can enter ‘Type or Create’ mode and it will give you throwback feels about using Snapchat. Click ‘Aa’ on the top right area and there you can see amazing font samples you can use if you want to caption something and put appropriate fonts together with it.
Adjust ‘Settings’ to approve tagged photos before they show in profile
When someone tags a photo or video of you on Instagram, it’s usually added to your profile automatically. But, you can change your Instagram settings to enable manually selecting which photos you’re tagged in that show up on your profile. You just have to click ‘Edit’ then ‘Tagging Options’ and select ‘Add manually’. Just like in Facebook, you can choose whether you still want to see it in your profile or not.
Hide ads that are not relevant
Instagram will try to show you ads that would take an appeal to you. You might see ads from different niches depending on the posts you’ve been liking and people you follow.
Top on the three dots on that ad profile and check ‘Sponsored’. After that, click ‘Hide This’ so it won’t show anymore.
