‘Game of Thrones’ is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D.B Weiss. It is an adaptation based on George R.R Martin’s fantasy highly anticipated fantasy novels. It takes place over the course in the continent of Westeros when King Robert visits the northern castle in Winterfell to ask Ned Stark to be his “hand of the king”.
It circles around seven powerful families from different houses that fight on who gets to sit in the “Iron Throne” and rule the Seven Kingdoms.

The prequel takes place 200 years before the original series and details a war known as the “Dance of the Dragons.” Like its predecessor, the series follows internal power struggles in Westeros as different factions vie for the iron throne.
In here, it will focus more on House Targaryen—Daenerys Targaryen’s ancestors, the clan of dragon-riders and the royal family of Westeros.
The life and ancestry of the Targaryens was barely touched in the past seasons which was about the history of the royal family from their conquest of the seven kingdoms up to their downfall in Robert Baratheon’s rebellion.
The “Fire & Blood” and “Dance of Dragons” was about the war succession between Aegon II Targaryen and his half-sister, Princess Rhaenyra after the death of their father, King Viserys I. Rhaenyra is originally named heir to the throne by her father but was passed over in favor of her half-brother Aegon. Thanks to the schemes of Aegon’s mother and grandfather, Queen Alicent Hightower and Lord Otto Hightower. It was now a devastating conflict between the kingdoms triggered by the siblings.
Well, it circles around everybody even if it’s about the timeline of the Targaryens. It’s like a web other families’ involvement is there no matter how we want it to be just about the Targaryens.
