The New Level Strategy of Working Away From Home

This pandemic really snatched the hell out of opportunities and a lot of doors that we can open when it comes to work-related chances and businesses.

In the blink of an eye, we almost lose the things vital when it comes to surrounding ourselves with good juju—environment, health status, travel, and meeting new people.

It’s an uphill battle that in one second, it turned out to be this way: workers away from their offices, zoom and google meet meetings, online parties, the rise of online collaborative games, and other ways to entertain ourselves. But people in this time of the day adjusted or seemingly forced themselves to adjust in this type of setup. As exhausting as it looks like, we all seemed to be drained with how this current setup forced us to be productive, to be good, and for other businesses to cope and adjust to our needs also.

It gets demanding as time goes by. We always look for new innovative ways to cope, as creative as it can be.

In the midyear during the fight with the pandemic, some hotel and beach owners who really struggled to find clients in sustaining their needs made some adjustments on how they can still sell. Their hotels went down, their cafes lost customers since travel these days is quite expensive and hassle.

Here are some of the deals business owners offer to people who are working from home (and away from home):

Hotels offer a package sale

For people who loves to travel, they can simply get discounts and perks in the hotels of their choice. Some hotels offer a 1-week-deal for people who would like to stay and work there for a short time. Inside the packages, they put up inclusions of free breakfast and coffee at the same time.

Cafes as co-working spaces

Since travels are a hassle these days, some cafes turned out to be co-working spaces with a little of a twist. You get to visit a café where they offer an ambiance that is peaceful and accommodating, enough for you to accumulate the peace of mind of a working person. They offer in packages by hours with corresponding fees: 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, and above. You will pay for the time you’ve spent inside the café while they offer you inclusions of unlimited coffee, stable internet connection, and a good playlist to listen to.

Villas for rent

This is the type exclusive for people who usually work with teams and travel bussies who likes to work in groups. Some villas here in the Philippines open just for the purpose of accommodating people who need the comfort of travel and work at the same time. Usually, villas offer their places consisting of 4-5 people or 6-8 people depending on how would you want your villa to look like. Of course, the more inclusions, the more fees to pay. Villas offer their place with pool, with entertainment function rooms, with a good karaoke setup rooms, with cafes nearby, and a lot of more additional perks. In this way, the group who opt to stay there will also have the fun way of relaxing while still working.

This is a good marketing strategy still. A lot of beach houses and villas are turning their places into an amazing work-from-home places to stay and it is one way for businesses to also prosper. They prosper in ways where they get to have clients and also maximizing the amount of sales they get in the period of time.

It’s a win-win to both parties. You get to help businesses, you get to travel in the expanse of leisure and work combined, and the same time the peace of mind it gives you during and after.

And people who get to do these will chant their mantra: “Mental health restored, finances destroyed, and I will do it again.”
