Reddit is a social platform where users submit their posts and use the terms and words ‘upvote’ and ‘downvote’ whether you like what you’re seeing or not.

Just like Facebook, the probability of a post to get higher views or get a wide range of viewers, is through the upvotes it will be getting.

WHY MARKET STUFF ON REDDIT?

Though others say that it’s not a social media site, other say it is—the users of reddit are pretty huge. For the fact that 70% of it are male users, the other 30% are females. Reddit is still a good platform to discover things on different communities called “sub”.

Reddit may disagree that it’s not a selling platform to market but the risk of putting your ads inside, makes it exciting as a lot of enthusiasts are also there. There are millions of visitors on Reddit that sometimes, marketing tactics usually applies.

We all know that in the platform Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook—things sell easily. Reddit is just the right platform for it has social niche communities you can explore.

Know that people inside Reddit have communities with the same interests—bibliophiles, sneakerheads, anime lovers, and many more. This is a very challenging avenue if you’re not familiar with the platform but it is a good avenue because Reddit users love to communicate and they are open to discussions which is a very smart move to sell.

Other than that, you have to respect and understand that each community may have different cultures.

The key components to market something on Reddit is: Consistency, The Ability to Lurk and Listen, Building, and Originality. With these 4, you have the assurance to soon market or sell stuff and pieces that you want to show people.

Originality in content beats everything. The more original and unique it is, the more engagement you can get from people around the globe.
