Fans are ecstatic as ‘Oppenheimer’ is making a noise on the Internet because of the fact that Cillian Murphy will be playing the role of the atomic scientist, J. Robert Oppenheimer.
Robert Oppenheimer was an American theoretical physicist during the Manhattan Project and he was also the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory in-charge for the research and design of an atomic bomb.
People know him as the ‘father of atomic bomb’.
This is not new for blockbuster director Christopher Nolan as he directed Dunkirk in 2017 in which he previously explored things about the World War II.
Other than that, the real deal here is Cillian Murphy and the top-notch cast.
We all know that Murphy is the legendary ‘Tommy Shelby’ in Peaky Blinders and also made his way onto Nolan’s films like The Dark Knight, Dunkirk, and Inception.
Nolan describe this upcoming film as an epic thriller with pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk in destroying the world in order to save it.
Top-notch cast includes Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Dylan Arnold, Rami Malek, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, and Olli Haaskivi.
Well, that is some kind of a bomb.
This will be a challenge to Nolan’s craft as this film will bring ideas in the new telling of his filmmaking filmography. ‘Oppenheimer’ will tackle real-life events that is filled with dreamy innovations and mind-blowing plots ahead.
Another fun fact: For the first time, a black & white IMAX camera will be used in multiple scenes. ‘Oppenheimer’ will be shot on a combination of IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format film.
Universal Pictures has set a theatrical release date for this film in July 2023.
