Girl’s Generation, also known as SNSD (Sonyeo Sidae), is a South Korean girl group composed of members: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun.
Well, what makes them the OG girl group?
Aside from being the original, Girls’ Generation has earned numerous recognitions and the honorific nickname “The Nation’s Girl Group” in their home country among the prominent South Korean groups and the most popular K-pop groups worldwide. Iconic indeed!
It’s 2022 and the girls are back with a lively and a vibrant comeback we are all waiting for. Girl’s Generation finally dropped their seventh album “FOREVER 1” and aside from it being hailed as the most awaited comeback, it also marks a treat for fans on the group’s 15th-anniversary debut.
Considering how long fans had been waiting for new music from them, it goes without saying that all eyes were on them and the group definitely did not disappoint. They also never failed us by serving the best visuals in their promotion series. It’s totally the best and worth the hype. Girl’s Generation promotion and teaser pictures showed us that as we age, it’s as if they didn’t—just getting the right glow in an amount of time, making us stan them more like we always do. The veteran group, which has been ruling the industry for 15 years now, sings about their unchanging energy when it comes to being forever one amongst themselves and their fans.
FOREVER 1 spearheads their seventh album as its title track, with nine more songs in the mix. The B-sides in no particular order include, Closer, Freedom, Summer Night, Mood Lamp, Paper Plane, Lucky Like That, You Better Run, Seventeen, and Villain.
We are all so proud of the girls—for making a huge success in their individual careers during their five-year hiatus and still coming back stronger. They are indeed, FOREVER ONE.
