Is Liza Soberano Finally Making A Debut In The Hollywood Scene?

Fans speculate this rumor as the actress is being linked to the upcoming movie Lisa Frankenstein.

Speculations about Soberano’s supposed involvement in the film arose after Jessie Stafford of the event production agency JSLA Events tagged Liza Soberano on her Instagram Stories earlier this week. In Stafford’s repost, she tagged Zelda Williams, Liza Soberano, and Transparent Arts, an artist management agency that represents both Reid and Soberano.

It wrote, “Sending you and your team all the amazing energy to kill this film!!!” That obviously implies that Soberano is somehow part of the team working on the movie.

But Instagram stories only last for 24 hours so it doesn’t stay there anymore—but people are very quick to capture a screenshot before it goes away. The movie from Focus Features will be the directorial debut of Zelda Williams, daughter of the late actor Robin Williams.

So what will be Soberano’s connection to the movie? Well, we never know for she hasn’t been announced as part of the cast. However, fans of James Reid, who is Soberano’s manager, spotted a post linked to the movie which tagged the actress.

If Liza Soberano indeed has a starring role in Lisa Frankenstein, this would be the Filipino actress’s Hollywood debut.

Liza Frankenstein is a zombie rom-com set in 1989. The synopsis of the movie that has been released describes it as being about an unpopular high school girl named Lisa who accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams by using the broken tanning bed in her garage.

Lisa Frankenstein currently lists only Cole Sprouse, Kathryn Newton, and Joshua Montes in the full cast of the movie.
