BTS member RM isn’t in for the glamor and those introductions because his milestones as the leader of the group are evidently impressive—even now that he’s doing solo.
Earlier this week, RM released his highly-anticipated solo album ‘Indigo’ and its track ‘Wild Flower’ (featuring Cho Youjeen) broke the internet with 20M views in his music video. The MV is just a manifestation that Kim Namjoon or RM is indeed a very talented artist.
FUN FACT: His new album ‘Indigo’ earns the biggest debut for an album by a Korean solo act on Spotify. According to Spotify, the album landed on the global chart with over 20.6 million accumulated streams, setting a new impressive record among Korean solo acts. ‘Indigo’ broke the record for the biggest debut for an album by a Korean solo artist in Spotify Global chart history.
‘Wild Flower’ had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 87 regions including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and more. Meanwhile, ‘Indigo’ had reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 67 different regions including Germany, France, and Italy.
