A Photographer Captures The Essence of An Eerily Foggy City at Night

What The Fog? is the project of Hamburg-based art director and photographer, Mark Broyer. Through his lens, he turned a seemingly quiet night into a visual masterpiece of a deserted city. The photo resembles a location of a horror or thriller film. The vast quietness of the images speak volumes of mysteries that happens to a busy city during the day. You might even hear the 80s synths of a Spielberg horror film by staring at it long enough. The fogginess and soft hues paired with spot on bright lamp posts in dominantly dark spaces create a vibe of enigma to its audience. The photographer called this photo series “Stranger Nights” that is might be parallel to the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things.

Overall, we give this 10/10 for mood setting, subject, narrative and concept.

You can check out the project here and his Instagram account to check on more visual awesomeness.
