This Artist’s Work Will Leave You Breathless

Do you often get thrilled and excited whenever you see impressive artworks?

This is exactly what we felt when we saw the stunning works of David Milan. This multi-disciplinary artist plays with colors and typography in a whole another level. The way he uses typefaces paired with bright colors is totally remarkable. The curvature of letters balances out the random strokes that you will find in his works.

In his website, he says that he loves experimenting with colors, textures, shapes and forms. He likes to take away the “perfect” concept that typography has nowadays. His selected clients are Apple, Huawei, Procreate App, Desigual, Pepsi, Adobe, Facebook, Washington Post, NBC Sports, Oprah Magazine to name a few.

Why we dig this aesthetic?

  • It is current, modern and appealing.
  • The artwork can speak to many markets.
  • The intentional use of colors are fantastic.
  • It is inspiring to look at.
  • His artwork is perfect for most brands out there.
  • You can definitely see the artist’s eye for details while looking at it closely.
  • Typography is a design staple and the artist took it into a different playing field.
  • You can see various design disciplines in each work.
  • It is timeless. It will still feel current if you look at it 5 to 8 years from now.
