iKON’s upcoming comeback is one for the books—giving us a hint of a very powerful teaser through their panorama posters.
iKON is a 2015 South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment in 2015 with members Bobby, Jay, Song, Dk, Ju-ne, and Chan. It was originally a seven-piece boy band before B.I left the group in 2019.
Before anything else, these boys were really famous before their debut. They appeared in a reality show wherein they competed with each other in groups. They also took part in a Korean TV Show, Mix and Match, where they line-up and iKON was formed. So, before their debut, iKON really made a good impression to their fans old and new.
One of IKON’s unforgettable hit was their song ‘Love Scenario’. It became popular in 2018 not only in Korea but all around the globe until now that it still brings nostalgia.
In Korea, it’s so famous that it was used in some advertisement and K-dramas. It even became a favorite with school children, which ended with schools banning the song because kids would not stop singing it.
Although no other details have been revealed yet, including the date of the comeback, fans are extremely excited, especially as this is iKON’s first comeback in over a year.
Their latest release was their digital single ‘Why Why Why’ in March 2021. They also participated in Mnet’s comeback survival show ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’. Through the series, the group dropped the song ‘At Ease’, included in the special EP ‘Kingdom Finale: Who Is the King?’ in that same year.
Apart from their music, iKON has been keeping their fans hyped through their reality series called ‘iKON On-Air’ which began last March 22, featuring the group’s six members participating in different interesting corners like games and talk sessions, and quirky fun attitudes.
